Calpe is a busy seaside town with multinational residents and is very popular with tourists in the summer. Home to a huge selection of restaurants, shops and businesses. With an old town and beachside amenities, there really is something for everyone!
Calpe is home to the famous rock, "Peñon de Ifach". This iconic rock outcrop is some 330 meters high and is a symbol of the Costa Blanca. “The rock” is in fact a nature park and home to hundreds of plant and animal species, seabirds and other birds. At the foot of the rock you will find the medieval ruins of Pobla de Ifac, once a walled village. Mountain scenery and great walking is found at the Olta park, or Zona Recreativa Serra D'Oltà.
There are three main golden sandy beaches, two of which have expansive promenades to enjoy. There is a harbour and marina catering to both fishing and leisure craft. Opportunities for water sports and yachting are here! Obviously, the port area is well known for its seafood restaurants.
