Denia is a larger, working town at the very Northern end of the Costa Blanca, but with blue flag beaches and lots to offer residents or visitors. The main street in the centre is Calle Marqués de Campo. This is a handsome tree lined avenue and feels like it could be in a much larger European city. From here you are just a couple blocks away from the 16th century castle (with museum open to the public) and the port. The port has routes to the islands of Ibiza and Palma. The marina is very popular and can hold private boats with moorings from 12 to 60 metres! You can see everything from fishing boats to mega power yachts. Denia has two nearby Golf Resorts, La Sella, which has three 9-hole courses and Olivia Nova, which has an 18-hole course designed by Sevi Ballesteros. The town has a very competitive restaurant scene and in 2015 was designated "Creative City of Gastronomy by UNESCO"
